One of Ralph Lauren's expen$ive Toys.
do you know in which year the colour shot was taken?
Le Mans 24 Hours 1957 - Car Data & Information - Racing Sports Cars
this source would indicate that it is chassis 606, yet, the real 606 carried, and still does, RSF301 (the winner of that year).
601 (listed as ...301) is now owned by Ralph Lauren but always raced with 2CPG as the license plate.
It could be that the source is wrong, but I am curious to know which car is shown in your picture.

According to where I found it, 1957. But I'm not sure the source is entirely trustworthy.

The D is probably my favorite Jag, so I figured this thread was worth reviving. Sorry for any reposts.

You are welcome to revive any thread, if you are doing it this way.
Thank you.
Even more beautiful than the E, this is Jag's finest design.
Sorry to be constantly requesting things, but have any of our Hide-Out heroes found a larger version of the Ecurie Ecosse photo from Bonhams?
This one is high enough resolution for the Hide Out, but too small for my desktop:

or this?
