Well any decent sort of a new car should have knock sensors that'll let you run on 87 if the car's tuned to 91 or 95, but then your not making as much power anymore

Right now the average for 87 octane is ~$2.50 here in Chico, CA, and probably about the same in the Bay Area as well. Although, I did find the cheap station selling it for $2.39. And it's sad that I'm happy bout that.

The 91 octane is selling here for as much as $2.80 right now.

My 200SX runs on premium only. 95 octane or higher (i put 98 in and im going to put in octane booster for 102 soon), thats why the SR20 never was sold to the US, youre fuels too shit.

i paid 117.9c per litre of 98 octane 2 nights ago. which is $4.46 a gallon.

I remember they used to have 92 in Cali, now it's just 91. Texas and some other states have 93, and I think that's the highest in the US.

thats 24 cents per liter.

Egypt is slightly cheaper.

It's $1.18 a litre for normal 95 octane fuel at Chisholm BP.

Someone work that out for me, i can't be stuffed to convert it to Gallons.
