    University $*!T

    hi, i need some help, i'm might switch my university and the new one asked to know the total of my marks, so the total of my marks is about 70.4%, now would that be a B+ (hopefully ) i'm not sure cuz they dont use percentage in the new uni and i wanna know what my mark would be,,,so if anybody knows what every "letter" mark equals on percentages pleas post it!

    Below 70 it's failing
    70-73= C- 74-77= C 78-80= C+
    81-84= B- 84-87= B 88-90= B+
    91-93= A- 94-97= A 98-100= A+

    In terms of university that would be a Credit.

    75% is a distinction, 85% a high distinction.

    Put an approximate location in your profile ( EVERYBODY!!) please and then you get help and not jstu lots of wrong info or questions
    In the UK, your attitude in a departmental interview can make up for low initial marks in another course/uni.

    those sound more like GSCE/A-level mark boundaries.

    Uni marks depend on uni/course... they vary quite a bit but generally a pass is 50%

    in mine 50% is pass, 70% being an A
    a friend doing actuarial science in LSE, as far as I know a pass is 30%.... crazy!
    i know others where pass (C) is 60%....

    why dont you just ask your new school, probably more reliable than some people you've nver met on a forum? (no offence to the people who have posted)
    especially when an error could mean the difference between getting in or not.

    Eventually i'll know from the new uni but i wanna know before they do just to know where i stand n' btw i'm switching to an american uni to continue studying banking and finance,,,,anyway an error doesnt mean anything cuz they asked to see the marks from a paper from my current uni(which is in percenatages ofcourse)...
