What a sweet project! Beyond wild to be modest! The paintjob is magnificent, does it have any hints from an original livery?
I bet you have considered these already: Lancia Stratos/Ferrari 308 Gp.4 Magnesium Wheels | Classic Alfa Romeo spare parts and accessories
One of the sexiest wheels in my book..
They make a pretty bright white flame when they catch fire too
An it harm none, do as ye will
Approximately 79% of statistics are made up.
The paint is based on the VS olio fiat livery, with the logos personalized to NS Corse Turbo I love the Alitalia livery, but to be homest that is just too common for me.

I have looked at the coffin spoke wheels - the ones you linked to wont go over my brakes (I have 17" rims) there is now a supplier that makes the coffin spokes that will go over my brakes, so its an option for the future!

Great car!
Hope it brakes/handles better than the one featured in Top Gear though.
BTW is an MR2 tranny able to handle the power?
Why not a Porsche transaxle?
All cars spin if you want them too, either the Stig was told to spin the car he had, or he is just a rubbish driver.
Transmission is from the MR2 Turbo & yes it should handle the power. Porsche transaxle is no good as the engine is transverse & there isnt space to fit it longitudinal...

The TG debacle with the Stratos kit car is well reported.
The car had not been used. They knew it wasn't in good condition and owner thought it was just for show.
NOT that Stig would cane it and show up the wear and adjustments needed.
THEN the Stig was deliberately spinning it and asked to by producers.
As ever, TG has to be taken with a huge pinch of salt as they don't like facts to get in the way of the opinion they want to demonstrate

Track day at Blyton Park on Saturday - Had a great time & even managed to spin out just like on top gear....

To be expected Neil. The turbo is always going to make power-off-oversteer hard to feather effectively. It'll come better but looking at it I think it will forever be a "point-and-squirt" car and difficult to get it to match the cornering performance of the original.
Might be better stiffening the rear up ( or even just a tyre pressure increase ? ) so that it releases traction a little earlier and with less drama ?? High CoG by the pics too would need lowering for track
Brave to try Would love to hear external video of the corner exits Any taken ??

That day was just a drive it and lets see what happens, I diddnt even play with the tyre pressures.... There are no anti roll bars fitted at present, so thats something that would help the handling.
Later in the day I was driving much quicker and the car was drifting nicely through that same bend. One thing for sure I need to learn the car - its 15 years since i drove my first one with 400+BHP...
There was some video taken, but I dont have it yet, I will ask the guy to put it on u tube...
