Chassis:
Built ahead of the 1997 season for loyal Porsche customer Franz Konrad, this has been one of the most prolifically raced of all 911 GT2s built. After debuting at Daytona, it won its class Sebring with Bob Wollek, Wido Rossler and Konrad himself behind the wheel. Later in the year, it added several more class wins to its tally in the IMSA Championship. This GT2 was also raced at Le Mans by Konrad but an engine failure ended the race early. From the 1998 season, it was campaigned for several more years by the German Proton team, and its final outing came at the 2003 FIA GT race in Brno. Chassis 394065 has since been restored its 1997 Le Mans livery.
