Lamborghini looked at their Murcielago and decided to make it better, the result is a 650hp Italian Batmobile, the styling is sharp to the point of being badass, and the matte grey works great with the bodywork, excellent job!
 Come on!

Come on really how much faster does this car have to be? Its a great looking car and if you can afford to throw down the money on one, i say go for it! This is one sharp looking, great handling, and faster then most users will every find out.
I agree that it is completely pointless

the lp640 is one of the best looking cars ever, and now lambo have copied an american jet and made the price 4x as much. and it looks like a acura rsx in the front

I guess Lamborghini are simply sticking to what's working, rather than betting too high and risking too much. I think they should try something else too, similar but different. Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise us in 2008.
 Correct the problems Audi!

What was so wrong with the LP640? Why did they give one of the most elegant of modern Supercars, a tacky carbon makeover without making it any lighter? Why did they take away the clear and logical instrumentation, and give us Vector-esque digital readouts? Why is it three times the price of the car its based on, and no faster?
I have an Idea! Instead of all this malarkey, Lamborghini could design a new, lighter aluminum, or carbon chassis for the current V12, or even a scaled back 6.0liter version. Ditch the AWD so that its light, and handles naturally (Not every car needs to be AWD/FWD Audi!), and then, make it smaller, to make it agile. That would be a Lamborghini worth this kind of money; this thing is just a tacky, overpriced bauble
