Chassis:
Sold new to an American executive in the summer of 1967, this 365 California was almost immediately involved in an accident. During the front-end repairs, the complicated pop-up headlights were removed. During the following years, it changed hands several times but always remained in the United States. During the 1990s, the pop-up headlights were fitted again. During the early 2000s, chassis 10327 was treated to a more substantial restoration. During the last few years, it has been sold at auction several times. In August of 2013, it passed to new ownership during Gooding's Pebble Beach sale for a record-breaking $2.97 million.
