Chassis:
Like one of its sister cars, this Ferrari 365 California was sold new to an American leasing company. It was briefly leased to a Californian before being sold to a Detroit-based enthusiast. In 1971, it was acquired by a Donald Grove from New Jersey. He would go on to own the rare Ferrari for over three decades and in 1978 had it completely restored. The original finish of red with a white top were retained. Following an outing at the 2005 Cavallino Classic, the car finally changed hands again.
