Chassis:
The sixth and final SE88C built, this chassis was not pressed into service until 1989 and is often referred to as a SE89C. It was fielded by Chamberlain Engineering for Fermin Velez and Nick Adams, who scored several class wins. An engine failure ended the car's charge at Le Mans early. Chamberlain continued to enter this car, now updated to C1 specification courtesy of a Cosworth DFZ engine, for a variety of drivers until the end of 1992. During this period, chassis 006 raced at Le Mans on three occasions but never made it to the finish. In more recent years, it has been restored to the livery and configuration used during its debut season.
