Chassis:
Constructed early in 1990, this was the fifth and final 962 produced by Richard Lloyd Racing. The car was not raced until two years later when it was fielded at Le Mans by ADA Engineering in an all-British effort. It was raced by Tiff Needell and father and son Derek and Justin Bell, for their first ever Le Mans partnership. Following brake issues early in the race, chassis RLR-202 ran flawlessly to finish 12th overall. ADA fielded the car again with an all Japanese line-up in 1994 but they retired before the halfway mark. In the following years, the car was equipped with revised exhausts complete with catalytic converters to make it road legal. It has subsequently been restored to its 1992 Le Mans configuration and colours, and prepared for historic racing. After a spell in the United States, it was more recently owned and raced by a French enthusiast.
