Chassis:
One of 55 examples built for the American market, this was the 48th F50 built. Finished in Rosso Corsa, it was commissioned by the late Italian born, American collector Benny Caiola. His collection gradually grew to include all the major Ferrari supercars like the F40 and Enzo but also pure racers like the 333 SP and FXX. Caiola retained the F50 until his passing in 2010 and was sold from his estate the following year with around 4,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next decade, the F50 was well maintained and rarely used. It was then consigned by its second owner to the 2020 Gooding Scottsdale Auctions having covered a total of 5.200 miles from new.
