Chassis:
Pink Floyd manager turned racing driver Steve O'Rourke acquired this 911 GT2 halfway through the 1996 season. With backing from record label EMI, O'Rourke would race the car extensively through to the end of the 1997 season. He was most successful in the British GT Championship where he won the GT2 class on two occasions, partnering with Tim Sugden. Sadly they did fail to qualify for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. From the 1998 season onwards, it was raced by P K Sport in the British GT Championship. Its final contemporary appearance came at the 1999 Daytona 24 Hours with G&W Motorsports. Starting 34th, the car retired early in the race due to an engine failure. Restored to the EMI colours used during the 1997 season, it returned to the racing track recently.
