Chassis: WP0ZZZ99ZTS394074
Sold new to Jean-Luc Chéreau and run by Larbre Competition, this GT2 debuted in May of 1997 for the Le Mans pre-qualifying. With an all-French line-up of Chéreau, Labre's Jack Leconte and F1 ace Jean Pierre Jarier, they were 45th fastest overall. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team lined up in 36th overall but failed to finish due to gearbox issue during the sixth hour. It was also campaigned in the French GT championship and several non-championship events. Chassis ZTS394074 scored a class win at the Le Mans 4 Hours and won the Nogaro 3 Hours outright. For Le Mans 1998, it was liveried in Playstation colours. Yet again, it failed to finish after leading the GT2 class early in the race.

Upgraded to GT2 Evo specification, which included a rare M64/84 3.8-litre engine, it was sold to England and raced in the 2000 British GT Championship. Driven by Mike Youles and Tim Harvey, it was the Oulton Park Gold Cup at its debut on British soil. In 2001, it was raced by David MacMillan in the AMOC Intermarque Series with considerable success. The 911 GT2's contemporary career ran through to 2004. In 2006, it was acquired by Chris Goodwin and it then passed to an American owner in 2013. During his custodianship, it was returned to the Playstation livery used at Le Mans in 1998. Fittingly, it was recently also 3D-scanned by Sony to be included in the Gran Turismo 7 game. Through Will I'Anson, it was sold to a British historic racer, who returned 394074 to the racing track.
