Chassis:
Under the Ford France banner, the third Rondeau M482 built was entered in the 1983 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was fielded for Philippe Streiff and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud and started 20th on the grid. Sadly, an oil leak ended the charge after just 12 laps. Automobiles Jean Rondeau filed for bankruptcy shortly thereafter and this M482 was sold to privateer Christian Bussi. He entered the car at Le Mans in 1985. Starting the race in 39th, the Rondeau failed to reach the finish due to a suspension failure. Still wearing its 1985 Le Mans livery, it was part of the Rosso Bianco Collection for many years. In 2023, it was consigned to the Bonhams Autoworld Sale in Brussels with a plethora of spares and the engine removed from the car.
