Chassis:
One of the very last 911 GT2 racing cars built in 1995, this example was delivered new to French racer Jean-François Veroux in January of 1996. He fielded the car in several BPR and FFSA GT races in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Ahead of the 1998 season, it was acquired by the German Seikel Motorsport team. It was extensively campaigned that year and was driven to victory in the Misano 6 Hours by Nigel Smith, Ruggero Grassi and Michel Ligonnet. Grassi then bought the car for himself and continued to campaign it in local events well into the 2001 season. Following its contemporary racing career, it was sold to another Italian, before it joined the collection of a German enthusiast in 2015. He had specialists Roitmayer sympathetically restore the car to its 1998 Misano 6 Hours winning livery. It has since changed hands again and made its Endurance Racing Legends debut during the 2024 season.
