Chassis:
The 60th F50 built by Ferrari, this example was finished in Rosso Corsa with a black interior and red seat inserts. It was sold new to Stephen Cloud from the Fresno area in California. It was then acquired by April of 1998 by John Carmack, who was one of the people behind legendary video games Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D. He had the car modified by Norwood Performance with a twin-turbo system. This was removed again for Carmack before he offered the car for sale in 2004. The next custodian had the car comprehensively serviced and fitted with a Tubi exhaust system, fuel cell and all-new belts, hoses and filters. Fastidiously maintained by the next owners, it was consigned to the 2026 RM Sotheby’s Arizona sale with 8,195 miles on the odometer.
