Car you dreamed of as a Child.

I think we can all agree, that this should go in the clasic cars thread, only because what we probably dreamed of are classics now.

All I know is that I used to live for a Ferrari 308.

As I am almost 17, this is easy - I remember yesturday, day-dreaming about racing my Pagani Zonda around the Nurburgring.

    I used to have a few car toys...a 911, F40, Testarossa and a 288GTO....gorgeous

I was born in '86, so all these cars were around when I was 5ish....

Don't know about when I was five, but when I was seven I was in love with the Ferrari Testarossa. Awesome car.

Obviously at 5 the car I dreamed of wasn't made yet but I still think the Viper and it's legacy was destined. I know that sounds really stupid especially since I don't like religion but I guess this is the closest I'll get to knowing why people believe in that stuff.

the zonda, the F1, and a 1970 GS 455 Stage 1. I love that car sooo much, heard it, seen it, but never sat in one. also, as a kid, i used to dream about the firebird.

For me it was the testarossa. then when i was 9 or so, 1991 i guess, i got a road&track with a comparison between the diablo, f40, ruf, ZR1, opel lotus omega, alpina twin turbo 5series, and i think there was one other.. it was a long time ago.. i always knew that the european cars were a ton faster, but the way the ZR1 kept up, and at 1/3 of the price, i loved it. so it was the vette that captured my heart until only about 5 years ago.

Wow, calm down you (to - rise against), specify if you care that much, and when you don't specify something, don't be a jackass about your own mistake.

As to fixing my question, I would first like to say 1) what about if you didn't like cars until you were in college or high school? That kind of makes your question a bit population-selective, so perhaps "what was your first dream-car?" Just a suggestion. 2) '94 Camaro, as a ride in one is what made me start loving cars originally.
