    Race of Champions 2007

    RACE OF CHAMPIONS 2007 - WEMBLEY STADIUM 16 DEC

    This year, being held at Wembley Stadium, London on Sunday 16th December.
    I just wanted to know if anybody had tickets and was going. I'm looking to buy tickets but the best price I can find is £120 a ticket.

    If anyone's going, hit me back :-)
    Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.

    Being nice since 2007.

    Here's a list of all the competitors, I'm really glad they got Jimmie Johnson in the list, it'd be unfair to overlook NASCAR. Of course it will be enat to see Michael Schumacher dueling it with all these big name racing stars.

    * Seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher
    * Formula One star Jenson Button
    * Reigning World Touring Car Champion, Andy Priaulx
    * Red Bull Racing’s David Coulthard
    * Triple Champ Car Champion Sébastien Bourdais
    * Seven-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen
    * Former DTM Champion Mattias Ekström
    * Reigning NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson
    * Eight-time X-Games Champion Travis Pastrana
    * Double World Rally Champion, Marcus Grönholm
    * Renault F1’s Heikki Kovalainen
    * Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel
    * 1995 British Rally Champion Alister McRae
    * World Touring Car Championship star Yvan Muller

    two team slots are still un-named on the official web site
    WOudl be nice to see Aussie and NZ teams ( or RSA too ).
    So the Scots can whip your asses again ( hey we have to take any win as a plus after the gubbings we've been taking recently in rigby )

    As a 4-wheel competition, I dont' know if they decide not to allow 2-wheelers to enter.
    Personally I'd like to see the characters from bikes in it too. Rossi and Stoner a chance to compete against each other on 4

    Same event
    Paris only had it for the last 3 years. Before that it was the Canary Islands.
    MUCH better back then as it wasn't constrained to be inside a football stadium. Wish it woudl go back there ... but money talks

    I'd rather see Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon in the Race of Champions because they've definitely had more experience outside of NASCAR, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy Johnson did real well.

    I see that Saint Lewis is not participating....will have a knock down effect on the ticket sales....

    Jenson Button and Andy Priaulx were probably approached and pre-selected long before Hamilton's meteroic first season

    Nice to see Alister is in to replace Colin

    Current teams are at RACE OF CHAMPIONS - the drivers

    They could get Rick Kelly and Craig Lowndes, that'd be good for a laugh

    From the site it says that Rossi's been in it before, and the question is where more people are familiar with Pastrana as FMX champ, or as a rally driver? I'm going for the former. I spose the problem they have is the country teams so they need to get 2 chmaps from 1 country, though they could just get Stoner and Bayliss or Corser.

    Oh damn... the question for me is - Support the Solbergs or USA?
    I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
