I have no idea of this car. All I know is that it said Manhattan on it.

It's a Checker Marathon, which was the ubiquitous New York City cab for most of the latter half of the 20th century. They were basically built to be cabs: big, roomy, and as solid as a tank (check out the size of that bumper; perfect for muscling lesser vehicles out of the way ). I'm pretty sure that ordinary citizens could buy them though, if they were so inclined. Why anyone would paint one pink, God only knows.

You just beat me to it... There's one displayed at BMW's museum in Munich. Only one thing, the production M1 had 277bhpOriginally Posted by McReis

Displaying one of what, the prototypes or production model? Either way, it wasn't there when I was there in 2004 .Originally Posted by Ferrer
You're right. I was confused because the same engine, when mounted on the M635csi or M535, had a power output of 286bhp.Originally Posted by Ferrer

I meant one of the Turbo concept cars, and I actually was there on the summer of 2004, strange that you didn't see it...Originally Posted by Sauc3

Could someone please tell me what the cars in this picture are? I got it from the Hide-Out, and I know the one in the foreground is an SL55 AMG. I'm pretty sure the silver sedan is a C36 AMG, but I'm especially curious about the red sedan. Thanks!
