Should have realized there was an Oz connection: Goggomobil Carry.
Were the fiberglas cars only in Australia? Always liked the Dart, but it didn't sell either.
Anyway, I like this little van plenty and surprised not to find it on my earlier search.

You got it, I'm impressed. Well done!
I pondered whether you 'gave yourself' another hint, in regards to your "glas" reference, considering the later tie-in between Glas and BMW.
Btw the Carry only had one (drivers side) door, plus a roll-a-door on the near-side to access the load area ... such as it was.
Yes all the local Goggos were shod with (good quality) fibreglass bodies. My old dad owned one back in the early sixties, a T300 sedan similar to pic but in a gungy dark green, with that very odd Goggo gearshift pattern. Were the fiberglas cars only in Australia? Unfortunately a direct link is verboten, but its well worth finding out about this unique vehicle, by following these steps...Most dragging fans will remember this car as "the one that beat the Ramchargers ['63 Dodge 426] when it ran a 14.3 at Castlereagh [Sydney dragstrip] a couple of years ago"

From the Buckle Motors page you might also like "A little bit about Bill Buckle" which briefly tells the tale of Oz Goggos, including Carry & Dart, and their creator .. along with the local road tests etc.

Goggo McKay Mk l? That's just wrong.
The Borgward I4 is a jewel of an engine... always wanted to have one just for display, all polished up.
One of these days I'd like to build a DKW van with 'Busa power and FWD.
