Delivered new on October 8th, 1969, this Miura S was finished in red with a black interior. It is first owner was most likely George Drummond, an infamous playboy and one-time racing team owner. In 1974, the car was impounded when Drummond ran into trouble with British tax collector. The next owner registered the car in 1976. It was then driven through the snow by its next owner from Scotland to his home in England. At that time, it had been comprehensively serviced converted to right-hand drive. In 1995, it joined the long-term of a Lamborghini enthusiast. Showing its age, this non-restored Miura S was eventually consigned by his estate to the 2022 Bonhams Bond Street sale.
