Chassis:
Completed early in 1971, this Miura S was originally finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior. It was commissioned by Tenerife based businessman Santiago Puig, who had the car equipped with ventilated disc brakes and air conditioning. In the bright Canary Islands sun, the red quickly faded and Puig had the car re-finished in a more suitable yellow. He retained the Miura S through to November of 1980, when it was acquired by a fellow Spanish enthusiasts. In 1998, it moved to Switzerland and between 2006 and 2011, it was comprehensively restored with the mechanical work entrusted to Graber Sportgarage. At this time, the original was rebuilt and equipped with the desirable split-sump lubrication system that came as standard on the very last Miura SVs. Part of the same collection for nearly three decades, this Miura S was eventually consigned to the January 2026, Broad Arrow Auctions Global Icons: Europe Online sale with 38,500 original kilometres on the odometer.
