A partner of the Goodwood Festival of Speed from the start, Bonhams will once again host this weekend's official sale. Headlining the packed catalog is this one-off Koenigsegg CCGT, which made one of its rare period public appearances at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in 2007. It was built to compete in GT1 racing but a rule change ended the program before the CCGT ever turned a wheel in anger. Since, it has been beautifully preserved by its single private owner. Bonhams estimate, the unique Koenigsegg will sell for £3 - £4 million.
Another big ticket item in the sale is this £2.2 - £2.6 million Aston Martin DB4 GT. A factory demonstrator, it also starred in a movie as Peter Sellers' getaway car. Sellers is also believed to have owned the car, which was uprated by the factory with a four-litre engine in period. Owned by the same collector since 2004, the DB4 GT should make some headlines.
One of just 20 works cars, this Audi Sport Quattro was campaigned successfully for Audi UK by Hannu Mikkola. The Group B rally car also famously featured in several videos and books. In single ownership since 2003, the Sport Quattro has been carefully restored and could be yours for £1.2 - £1.4 million.
